Britney assumes that Shane is smarter than he actually is when she questions his motives. He’s not trying to protect Dan and Danielle over you, he just really is that dumb.

I feel really bad for her right now. I’ve noticed that she’s actually super insightful this season though, probably more than the other coaches, I just think her biggest mistake was Willie. Choosing him and then sharing the twist with him (which I still can’t believe she did) she just wanted to be Janelle’s bff damn it! ugh Willie is such a loser, the only way to begin to rectify this situation is if she won the coaches competition and traded him for Danielle, because taking out Willie and Dan would be too hard to resist. No one has a deal with Dan so it wouldn’t be a long shot, and Danielle is pretty much in love with Shane so that will soften the blow for her. It works out for everyone except Dan really.
