as fun and sexy as tyler/nolan are—and that’s a bit of a downer for me; i’d love to see them flesh that relationship out just a tiny bit though because the deviousness and machinations are seriously awesome—and as much as i lovelovelove seeing the existence of bisexual men (!!!) on television, a piece of my soul stays with these two. like. i don’t know what it is but i’ve been so meh when it comes to dudes on television lately; they’re over-hyped or hyper-masculine or empty cliches. but nolan!!! nolan is larger than life and hilarious and breaks every single construct and is played to a ridiculous degree by gabriel mann. nolan has a genuine connection to emily—he feels a loyalty to her father, which in turn is drawing the two of them togehter. he doesn’t expect or want anything from her in return; he’s just interested in her cause, he’s the only one who knows who she really is, he’s the only one that emily is (even begrudgingly) honest with, who she does trust deep down. they make my heart siiiing.
